Douze Points - April 2006

The Douze Points semi final:

What a night! The Retro Bar was so full that it was almost impossible to get to the bar! As regulars know, this month was a different format to the usual Douze Points. It was time to watch and vote on the semi finalists of Eurovision 2006. Twenty three groups of people were allocated juries at the start of the evening. We showed preview videos of all the semi finalists which were then voted on by the juries. To prevent tactical voting, all the juries were then swapped around. And the winner was:

Belgium!

However, it was a very narrow win, with Sweden following in second place, just three points behind.

The other songs that will be going through to the final on 11th May are:

4th: Russia
5th: Slovenia
6th: Bosnia Herzegovina
7th: Estonia
8th: Finland
9th: Poland
10th: Monaco
