The Douze Points Final:
Another amazing night ! The Retro Bar was even busier than last month! This month twenty three groups of people were allocated juries at the start of the evening. Apologies to any of you who didn't get to be a jury - there were just so many people it was impossible to give one to everyone, as much as we would have liked to! We watched the preview videos of the finalists and the ten songs that made it through form the semi final last month.
And the winner was:
Germany!
Again Sweden came second but did manage to beat Belgium's Kate Ryan who actually won the semi final last month but only came 6th this month..
2nd: Sweden
3rd: Greece
4th: Slovenia
5th: Iceland
6th: Belgium
7th: Romania
8th: UK
9th: Russia
10th: Finland

Congratulations to Germany - a popular winner. Let's see if they can go all the way on May 20th. We haven't yet predicted a winner here at Douze Points - could this be the year?
This month, our 2 German jury members not only won a bottle of champagne, but also a copy of the CD and DVD of this year's contest and the official Eurovision book signed by the author. Congrats to them.
Anxiously awaiting the results! |
